Good evening. We wanted to address some of the questions that we've been getting the past few days, regularly.
Q) Are there still shirts available? What if I didn't get to select one?
A) There are shirts still available in some sizes (we are out of Medium and Large, and that was AFTER we put in a second order. We are trying to work with the printer to get some more done, but this takes time, meaning that if you weren't able to select a shirt during your checkout process, you may not get a shirt on race day. We are working on this and hope that everyone gets a shirt at some point.
Q) Are there enough medals?
A) With the recent surge in registrations, we have gone over the 800 medals that we orginially ordered. We already reached out to our medal manufacturer and told them to prepare for an additional order, should all of our runners show. We will mail these medals off to finishers who do not receive a medal. We will document the bib number of the runner who is the last to get a medal, and will have a timing record of everyone after that.
Q) Is the Half marathon USATF Certified still?
A) It is not. With all of the recent changes, and then a call from the city this morning telling us that the course needed to run on the OUTSIDE of the Dock Street area because of a Holiday Marketplace they forgot about, we've had too many course changes to have it continue to be a certified course. If this affects your ability to use the course as a qualifier for another event (we believe New York qualification is one of the only that it could affect) please reach out to us at info@tcreventmanagement.com
Right now these are the TOP 3 questions that we are getting (other than "Can I get a full refund?" To which the answer is unfortunately no.).
