Yay!! A day with very few changes!!! We are excited to see things come together and want to share about Aide Stations and Packet Pickup tomorrow.
First and foremost - Packet Pickup is TOMORROW (Saturday, December 10th, 2022) from 3pm to 6pm at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. You MAY pick up for others. IF you did not sign up in time to get a shirt, we will be recording your requested shirt size, so that we can make things right. IF you are able to get the proper size shirt after the event (if we have "extras") then your name will be removed from that list.
There will be a second packet pickup on Sunday morning, from 6am to 7am. IF you can make it on Saturday, do everyone a favor and do so.
Aide stations. There are 5 unique locations for aid stations. Some of these will be double hits, and, if we can get enough volunteers to staff them all for the time, then we will try to have all of the final 3 aide stations be doubles. All aide stations either have two (2) porto-johns either directly at them, or right beyond them.
Aide 1 - Approx Mile 2 - All racers (Half, 10k, 5k) will reach this table and will be able to get WATER ONLY. This is the only water stop for 5k participants.
Aide 2 - Downtown Dock Area HALF AND 10K (Mile 3.2) - Gatorade and Water
Aide Station 3 - HALF AND 10K (Mile 4.5) Gatorade and Water (will try to make double hit) - end of King George Rd at Baltimore Blvd
Aide 4 - HALF ONLY (Miles 5.5 and 10.8) Gatorade and Water - Over The Bridge and Across From The Memorial
Aide 5 - HALF ONLY (Miles 7 and 8.5) - Gatorade and Water - Head of B and A Trail (will try to make this on both sides of the road)
