Community Impact/Traffic

We do our best to notify neighborhoods, HOA's, religious groups and businesses about how traffic will be impacted on race day.  Our Event Communication Plan is below:

Communications Plan:
● February & May: After submission of permit application  An email notification will be sent to community leaders indicating that a permit application has
been submitted.
● August 3 (2 weeks prior to race): Door drop of flyers outlining areas impacted for race day including time when road reopen to traffic to affected neighborhoods.  Signs posted at key intersections throughout town alerting community of upcoming event including the website.
● August 10: Email sent out to neighborhoods, businesses and organizations outlining road closures and community impact for race day.
● August 13-16: VMS boards will be posted at key intersections.
