We do our best to notify neighborhoods, HOA's, religious groups and businesses about how traffic will be impacted on race day. Our Event Communication Plan is below:
● February: After submission of permit application An email notification will be sent to community leaders indicating that a permit application has
● May 18 (2 weeks prior to race): Door drop of flyers outlining areas impacted for race day including time when road reopen to traffic to affected neighborhoods. Signs posted at key intersections throughout town alerting community of upcoming event including the website.
● May 26: Email sent out to neighborhoods, businesses and organizations outlining road closures and community impact for race day.
● May 26 - May 29: VMS boards will be posted at key intersections.
